Abstract:
One of the large industries of energy consuming is the steelindustry which is considered as one the main industries ineach country. Energy management in preheating furnaces notonly decreases the energy consumption but also increases theproduction, decreases the costs and also reduces the emissionenvironmental pollutants. In the current research isinvestigating the reduction of energy consumption andincreasing of efficiency of preheating furnace as a result ofincreasing production capacity in Mobarakeh SteelCompany. Results of numerical analysis and practicalmeasurements was compared with the same results in furnacedesign condition, causes of departure of current situationfrom design situation was analyzed according to drawndiagrams and suggestions and solutions to increase theproduction, reduce the cost of production and optimize theenergy consumption was declared.
