خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, a finite element modeling is presented for the dynamical stability analysis of a conveying fluid pipeline span resting on elastic foundation. The finite element model leads to a coupled second order system of ordinary differential equations which can be written as a dynamical system in the state-space. Using the state space model, the effect of axial velocity of the fluid particles on the dynamical behavior of the system is studied through the bifurcation analysis. Regarding to the bifurcation diagram it is observed that the critical speeds of the system are increased due to the stiffness of foundation.
