Abstract:

The nano porous two-dimensional sorbent (coordination polymer) was synthesized by sonochemistrymethod. Characterization of this sorbent was performed by FT-IR, CHN, PXRD, and TEMmethods.by considering of TEM image, it confirmed the particles of sorbent are in the nano scale. Thenano porous sorbent was utilized as a unique filter for removal of uranyl ions by solid phaseextraction (SPE) method. The uranyl acetate salt was utilized for preparation of aqueous solution ofuranyl ions. For investigation of the sorption procedure, nano sorbent was immersed in trace level(ppm) of uranyl ions. The solution was kept under sonic radiation and then the solid phase wasseparated. The solution of salt was investigated before and after extraction by UV-Visspectrophotometer and the removal of uranyl ions confirmed. Some advantages of this research are:The observance of at least two principle of green chemistry , synthesis of porous sorbent at nanoscale by facile method, the fast and facile procedure for nano sorbent synthesis and uranyl ionsanalysis method, utilizing of non-expensive instrument for studying of sorption behavior of nanosorbent.
