Abstract:

Every business has got its own mission to set up the goals and achieve them through the appropriate planning and resource management. Managers play a key role to achieve the organisational objectives and getting the efficiency from the staffs. It is not a straight forward task. They need to be fully aware of their respective and responsibilities in terms of different stages of performance management. It involves different functions such as leadership and people management, communication skills, collaboration and business management skills. Obviously, it involves several obstacles need to be dealt with successfully. This report explains management roles, processes, interconnections and a practical example of a business. The business under the consideration of this report is Melli Bank in Iran, Tehran, Mirdamad Street. All the formal and less formal of management’s roles are discussed including the critical situations where managements got interacted and performed effectively. Finally, I have added my comments and recommendations on the interdependencies of the individuals and managers that could have happened to make more effective and efficient.
