Assessment of urban master plans for cultural programs, Case study: Tehran

Identify the deficiencies and weaknesses in the cultural sector, Can lead cultural studies to their resolving, based on which the analysis of the current cultural situation and development of Cultural programs in accordance with reality would be possible. In addition, the decision-making and policy-making based on objective criteria would be possible, solely based on regular access to authentic information. This paper seeks to examine the Cultural Master Plan of Tehran as well as the impacts of Tehran's master plan on the culture of the city in terms of strengths and weaknesses; and includes a set of studies and researches in social and cultural fields of Tehran which are necessary for the social and cultural policy-making and planning of its municipalities.
