Exploring the relationships and integration of Knowledge Management with BusinessIntelligence and Competitive Intelligence

Business Intelligence (BI) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) are counted as the two main IT technologies providing critical and required information and knowledge in the organizations. However many companies rely on one of these systems in order to facilitate and enhance their decision making process, integration of both BI and KM may provide a more complete and developed system which accompanied with Competitive Intelligence (CI) encompasses all the tacit and explicit internal and external knowledge required for the organizations. This paper attempts to investigate the relationships between BI, CI and KM and attend to some integrated frameworks for knowledge management using BI solutions.
