The purpose of this research is the study of the relationship between emotional intelligence and multifactor leadership styles elementary principals in the Yazd city. In this research the sampling unit is school that its 130 principal and 260 teachers are chosen by satisfied random sampling method. The research method was correlation. In this research has used bar-on” emotional intelligence questioners and multifactor leadership styles of Bernard.M.Boss”. The data obtained from this research has been analyzed by correlation statistical methods and multiple regressions. The result shown that there is a significant relationship between the emotional intelligence and the transformational, transactional leadership styles and outcome leadership, but there are no significant correlation between the emotional intelligence and the laissez-faire leadership style. Moreover, the result indicated that a combination of emotional intelligence would predict the transformational and transactional leadership styles and leaderships outcome.
