خلاصه مقاله:
the aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of parenting training on the prevention of the formation of the early schemes of maladaptive parenting style for adoptive parents. The study is quasi-experimental. The statistical population consists of all the parents that adopted a child from welfare centers. For this study, two groups of 15 persons were randomly selected as the experimental group and the control group. Data collection tool is Yang parenting style questionnaire. For parenting training, parenting educational packages based on the prevention of the formation of early maladaptive schemes were used for the experimental group. Data analysis was performed using the main indices of descriptive statistics and covariance analysis test in the section of inferential analysis of data. The findings show that parenting training based on the prevention of the formation of early maladaptive schemes increases the emotional and authoritative behaviors in adoptive parents. Results also show that parental training based on the prevention of the formation of early maladaptive schemes reduces severe behaviors and dependence in adoptive parents
