خلاصه مقاله:
The present paper is related to the hexagonal cell honeycombs to obtain the in-plane elasticproperties of hexagonal cell hexagonally packed honeycombs. The in-plane elastic properties of hexagonal cell honeycombs are derived through an analytical method by modeling the cell walls within the context of classical thin walled Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and using Castigliano's theorem, it is possible to arrive at an expression for the different elastic moduli correspondingto the particular loading program. The results show that the relation of the macroscopic Young's modulus and the macroscopic shear modulus are directly proportional to the thickness of the cell wall and inversely proportional to the cell edge length.
