in this work we propose a novel three-component one-pot reaction for the synthesis of highly substituted iminothiophene-2(5H)-thione derivatives. This reaction belongs to a rare class of multicomponent cyclization where an iminothiophene-thiones are produced. It is likely that the scarcity of methods available for the synthesis of imino substituted thiophene-2(5H)-thione derivatives combined with the operational simplicity. The structures of title compounds are confirmed by spectroscopic data
