Abstract:
In the current work, we performed a new method to synthesize a kind of metal organic frameworks known as NH2-MIL-125 which is based on ultrasound waves. The results show the sonochemical synthesis method is an effective way to reduce the reaction time because of rapid nucleation. In addition, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) analyzes show sonochemical synthesized NH2-MIL-125 respectively the size of crystals become smaller and the specific surface area is about 10% higher than that of previous conventional methods which is favorable in industrial fields.
