خلاصه مقاله:
This article aimed to study the effects of short-term (in-service) training courses on empowerment of lecturers of Islamic Azad University, branch of Germi. To thispurpose, short-term trainings were classified as induction, general, job and management improvement trainings. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire proposed by Shokri (2008), which consisted of 20 questions about job empowerment and a questionnaire containing 10 questions. The questionnaire was distributed to the lecturers and then the data collected and summarized. In this study, the sampling method iscensus and researchers sought to examine the relationship between short-term (inservice) training and job empowerment as well as their impacts. The research method is regression and t test and in terms of collecting data is descriptive The results ofcorrelation analysis and t-test showed that there is a significant positive correlation between job empowerment and short-term training, including induction trainings, job trainings, general trainings, and management improvement trainings
