THE BEST TIME TO REPLACE BURNER ON AN EXISTING BOILER FOR SAVING ENERGY AND COST

In boilers, the purpose of using burner is to mix molecules of fuel with molecules of air. Burners are designed to maximize combustion efficiency while minimizing emissions. A steam generation boiler will run only as well as the burner performs. A poorly designed boiler with an efficient burner may perform better than a well-designed boiler with a poor burner. Using an efficient burner reduces the load of the burner in start, subsequently provides better load control, saves wear and tear on the burner, reduces refractory wear, reduces purge-air requirements, and provides fuel savings. In this paper we consider the best time for replacing burner for saving energy and cost.
