This paper presents a study on an optimized controller for a switched reluctance generator (SRG) studied for variable-speed uses. The proposed optimization approach usingmassive simulation is expressed. Simulation results obtained with an 8/6 switched reluctance generator in a wide range of operatingstates are presented and recorded in multidimensional tables that can be used for a design tool in the process of optimization. The performance of an optimized controller for a SRG is appraised and accredited with simulation
