Abstract:

Emersion of energy hub as an interface between producers, transmission systems and loads, creates a great chance of achieving more efficient systems. The energy hub as an intercurrent of multi carrier energy (MCE) systems motivates the researchers to study different aspects of this field. Economic issues is one of the most important concerns of system operators. MCE system as the upcoming energy providing system should have optimal performance. Optimal power flow of a combine electrical-gas network is understudied in this paper. Implementing the mentioned problem to real systems leads to a large scale, nonlinear problem which should be optimized using the robust optimization techniques. The group search optimization algorithm is utilized in order to solve the multi carrier optimal power flow (MCOPF) problem in this paper. The proposed procedure decomposes the MCOPF problem into its traditional separate OPF problems in such a way that the major advantages of simultaneous analyzing of MCE systems would not be sacrificed. Afterwards, the proposed scheme is applied to an 11-hubs test system and the obtained results is analyzed. The efficiencies of the proposed approach is then discussed
