خلاصه مقاله:
The Hydrologic Engineering center’s Hydrologic Modeling System (HEC-HMS) is a tool to simulate the precipitation-runoff processes of dendritic watershed system. In this study, HEC-HMS was used to simulate the peak flow for 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 year ARI in Pendas River catchment. flooding during the 2006/2007 worse flood event. The existing flows at the upstream and downstream are 0.11m3/s and 0.16m3/s respectively. Selected model parameters are calibrated to obtain the most appropriate values for the study site. In conclusion, the derived model using HEC-HMS can be used as a tool to predict peak flow
