خلاصه مقاله:
Two navel Ka-band ring shaped circular polarized (CP) reflectarray (RA) elements are integrated with specificsolar cell (SC). This combination technique paves the way to design low-cost, low-profile and high gain solar cell antennas (SOLANT) for satellite applications. The characteristics of solar cell are introduced and the parameters of phasing element are optimized to achieve linear phase shift curve. The structure of element is designed to achieve broadband element. An effort is done to reduce surface current density distribution on the surface of RA cell in operating frequency by employing two rings as an antenna cell. Transparency of whole structure isdeveloped by implementing narrow width reflectarray patch.
