Abstract:
HLA-E locus is a human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) gene which is highly conserved through evolution and has low polymorphism. HLA-E is playing immune modulation and immune suppression roles by interaction with specific receptors of T cells, natural killer cells and macrophages. The aim of this study was to survey the HLA-E polymorphism in a healthy population of Iran
