Burn is one of the major public health problems worldwide and especially in the developing countries.Burn patients are sucseptible to nosocomial infections. The importance of burn infection is highlighted when most pathogens involved in nosocomial infections show resistance against antibiotics. Microorganisms resistant to multiple antibiotics have induced special problems in the patients hospitalized in burn wards for a long time.
