Abstract:
During the last decades the use of pesticides has increased steadily in developing countries in an effort to control vector-borne diseases. Human serum albumin is the most abundant protein in the circulatory system, it has many physiological and pharmacological functions. Distribution and metabolism of many biologically active compounds (drugs, natural products, etc.) in the body are correlated with their affinities towards serum albumin. Malathion is an insecticide in the chemical family known as organophosphates. Malathion, like all organophosphate pesticides, inhibits acetylcholine esterase and alters cholinergic synaptic transmission in the central nervous system. Silver nanoparticles, are among the most attractive nanomaterials, and have been widely used in a range of biomedical applications, including diagnosis, treatment, drug delivery, medical device coating, and for personal health care.
