Production of recombinant antibodies in plants

Recombinant antibodies can be used to diagnose, treat and prevent disease by their specificantigen-binding activities. Advances in molecular biology, immunology, and plantbiotechnology have changed the plants to bioreactor to produce valuable recombinant proteins.These include therapeutic or diagnostic monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and otherbiopharmaceutical proteins.
