The mesoporous [Fe,Zn]-ZSM-5 zeolite catalyst was prepared by NaOH treatment with Fe and Zn impregnation, and its application in the conversion of methanol to gasoline (MTG) was studied.The catalyst samples were characterized by XRD, XRF, FT-IR techniques. N2 adsorption-desorption results showed that the mesopores zeolites.The dehydration of methanol over catalysts carried out in a fixed-bed tubular reactor at 660 K and WHSV of 1 h-1 under ambient pressure. The desilication of Fe and Zn impregnated catalyst exhibited great improvements in selectivity of aromatic hydrocarbons.
