In the present study, a novel plasma rector was employed in order to compare usual methods of hydrogen production from methane namely partial oxidation, dry reforming and direct cracking of methane. The plasma reactor which provides stable operation is cold type with spark DC discharge. Methane conversion, products selectivity, and byproducts of different applied methods are investigated at the same operating condition and the results are compared together.
