Abstract:
The interest in legend immobilized solid phase like silica gel, organic polymer or copolymers, cellulose and polyurethane foam continues because their several applications, for example in solid phase metal extraction, designing hybrid organic-inorganic catalysis and heterogenization of homogenous catalysis . The solid phase extraction of metal ions present at micro/trace level in environmental samples, high purity materials, biological samples and other complex matrices, make possible analytical techniques, such as flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS). A new Hg(II) imprinted mercapto functionalized Montmorillonite was synthesize by an easy one step reaction by combining a surface imprinting technique for selective phase extraction of Hg(II) prior two its determination by FAAS(flame atomic absorption spectroscopy). Characterized (IR) and studied for preconcentration Hg(II) using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy for Hg(II) monitoring. The optimum pH value for sorption of and Hg (II) 5.5. A recovery 100% was obtained for Hg (II), with 0.5 M HNO3 as eluting agent.
