Temperature and Composition Effect on Thermophysical Behavior of Ethylene Glycol and 1-Heptanol Solutions

In this paper, study on thermodynamic, optical properties of ethylene glycol and 1-heptanol binary systems at different temperatures and whole concentration range and atmospheric pressure have done using experimental measurements of density and refractive index. Using experimental measurements and calculation of different excess thermodynamic properties, detailed analysis have done on the behavior of aqueous diols mixtures and interaction between components.
