Abstract:

A novel electrochemical sensor based on molecularly imprinted membranes has been developed for Morphine detection. The sensitive membrane was prepared by sol gel based method. The macroporous particles were prepared using precipitation-polymerization and imprinted with Morphine. The sol–gel was combined with graphite microparticles (50 μm) and the composite was deposited on the surfaced of a carbon paste electrode. The sensor was then tested for its response to Morphine using differential pulse voltammetry Analytical performance of proposed sensor showed high sensitivity in detection of morphine exhibited excellent performance for the determination of Morphine.
