Electronic Design Automation has come a long way in recent years. Cadence® Allegro® AMS Simulator provides a full-feature analog and mixed signal simulation environment to help solve virtually any design challenge from high frequency systems to low power integrated circuit (IC) designs. This paper uses Advanced Analysis [1] [a] to expose testing engineers to some complex procedures of circuit building. The powerful Cadence simulation engine integrates easily with Allegro Design Entry Hardware Descriptive Language, improves time-to-market performance, and helps to keep operating costs down.
