Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of recruitment strategy on the performance of personnel in public organizations in Astara city. Method of the research isdescriptive and it is of survey research type. The sample includes personnel of 25 governmental organizations in Astara which were 700 persons in 2015 and out of which 248were selected as a sample group by stratified random sampling method .The means ofcollecting data were the ACHIEVE standard questionnaire for performance of the personnel with 28 questions and the standard questionnaire for recruitment strategy by Moghimi et alwith 20 questions. In order to validate the content, experts' opinion was used; and the result confirmed the validity of the questionnaire. In order to confirm the stability, Cronbach's alphacoefficient was used and stability was reached with 0.96 and 0.95 for variable components ofrecruitment strategy and personnel's performance respectively. Descriptive and inferential statistics was used to analyze the data. Since the correlation coefficient was positive, findingsof the research demonstrated that recruitment strategy and its components have positive and meaningful relation with the personnel's performance.
