Recognizing the Architecture of Ali-Qapu and the Decorations of this Palace

Examining buildings from various historical periods not only defines The architectural features of each era, but also the culture, traditions, beliefs and the rulers of the respective era.As a result, one of the goals behind studying a work of architecture is to gain sufficient knowledge about various aspects of a historical period and Ali-Qapu is not an exception fromthis rule. Studying the reasons behind building this palace, the uses that it had, decorationsand the materials used in building it, changes in its usage and structure throughout the time all help expand our horizons about the Teimourian and Safavian eras. Interesting information canbe gained by paying more attention to the different floors of this building that we will gothrough them in detail. On the other hand, changes to the eastern, northern and southern facades of the building throughout the time has changed the appearance of this mansion. Theupcoming research will study the features of this building based on field surveys and other sources accessible in libraries.
