Today, knowledge as an asset and intangible asset has an important role in organizations. Better and more effective use of organizational knowledge management and integrating it into the organization and the culture and organizational structure that supports a system of appropriate technology, significant progress economically, cultural and social organizations have created and will create a sustainable competitive advantage. On the other hand, the organization's unsuccessful knowledge management can impose enormous costs of the success factors of knowledge management and applying them can be a guide to better management. Success factors of knowledge management in organizations from different angles and in different studies are discussed and mining various organizations and companies around the world has taken to investigate and determine the cause. The aim of this study was to investigate and identify and define the dimensions of effectiveness and success of knowledge management on the background research. The results of this study show that the sum of elements in three groups: organizational culture, organizational structure and information technology categories.
