Abstract:
Nanocrystalline materials have been the subject of widespread research over the past couple of decades. However, it should be realized that a full understanding of the structure, thermal stability, and properties of these novel materials is not yet available. A number of issues and concerns still need to be solved.In the present work, the Zn doped La2O3 nanocrystallites have been synthesized with sol-gel method. Strain and yield stress of samples have been studied by XRD (X-Ray Diffraction), X-Powder software, Hall-Petch effect and Williamson- Hall equation.The obtained results show that a sample with molar ratio of Zn/La: 1/4 has lower strain and therefore higher yield stress respect with the other present samples, meaning, they have good mechanical stability
