Abstract:
A highly efficient method for the synthesis of benzo[g]chromenes by the condensation of aldehydes, malononitrile and 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthaquinone using ionic liquid (ILs) supported on FeNi3 nanocatalyst is described. The heterogeneous catalyst was fully characterized by X-ray power diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), FT-IR and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM)
