Abstract:
In this study, nanozeolite LTA was successfully synthesized during template-free hydrothermal method at short time and low temperature. Using inexpensive raw materials, water glass and sodium aluminate as Si and Al sources respectively, nanoparticles of NaA zeolite were achieved at just 8 hours and 100˚C. The as-synthesized LTA nanozeolite was characterized using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectroscopy. In addition, the effect of temperature on the phase purity and morphology of LTA nanoparticles was also investigated.
