خلاصه مقاله:
In the present work, an anionic azo dye, Orange G was incorporated successfully into the interlayer domain of Mg–Al layered double hydroxide (LDH) by coprecipitation route. The resulting novel hybrid composite material was characterized by powder XRD, FTIR and TGA. The powder X-ray diffraction revealed the presence of host-guest interaction between the host matrix and interlayer anionic dye guest with an expanded interlayer distance. The TGA studies showed that the dye-intercalated layered double hydroxides had higher thermal stability than the pristine dye and at the final step Optical properties of this hybrid material was investigated by UV–Vis and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy at room temperature
