خلاصه مقاله:
Due to the increasing cost of high quality materials needed for different geotechnical projects, engineers try to improve the physical properties of local soils through- out different methods and techniques. This paper investigates interaction effect of usage of polypropylene fiber and zeolite on strength parameters of silty sand. Accordingly, usage of an additive material besides fiber, raises an issue about synergistic interaction effect on soil strength. Usage of fiber or zeolite lonely is effective according to previous researches of authors, but their simultaneous application results in synergy and the results are approximately sum of separate usage of them. According to this, compatibility of polypropylene fiber and zeolite is approved.
