Abstract:

Among the most widely used problems in the area of operations researches is the transportation problem. The main model, in previously conducted researches, has been attempted to be made more actual, taking the issues, namely the high number of goods, distinct objective functions and various transportation vehicles into consideration. However, in the current research, coupled with the inclusion of such items in the model proposed, the issue of uncertainty is also regarded in the model and hence, fuzzy theory is utilized. The state of the model, due to the issue that decision variables, together with the parameters, are defined in the form of triangular fuzzy numbers in it, is entirely fuzzy. In the first place, solution methods of complete fuzzy models and then, genetic algorithms are employed in order for the problem to be solved and the best solution to be attained, respectively, the results of which are demonstrated in the last part of the study.
