خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, an estimator scheme for thesubstrate concentration of a bioreactor is proposed on the basisof a bioreactor model. It is assumed that cell mass is measurable,and this nonlinear system satisfies the Lipschitz condition.Maximum growth rate is uncertain in this model, so a newadaptive observer has been proposed. One of the most importantadvantages of this designation are that existence of a mapping totransform the nonlinear system to the canonical or linear form isnot needed and furthermore our design requires no matchingcondition as is commonly used in the observer structures. Inaddition the unknown parameter can be identifiedasymptotically. Stability of the new observer is given on the basisof Lyapunov analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed observeris demonstrated through MATLAB simulations.
