خلاصه مقاله:
In this paper, the coordination of the Power System Stabilizer (PSS) and FACTS-based controllers is employed to improve the dynamic performance of power systems. To this end, the coordination design problem is formulated as an optimization function. To design the synchronized stabilizer using fuzzy PID controller, the Grey Wolf Optimizer (GWO) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) are compared considering the final value of the cost function. A Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB) system equipped with PSS and FACTS controllers is used in our experiments. The simulation results as well as the eigenvalue analysis show the efficiency of the coordinated stabilizers in enhancing the system stability.
