خلاصه مقاله:
This study considers the problem of actuator faultdetection and estimation for linear dynamical systems. It designsan adaptive observer for state estimation and residualgeneration. Upon fault detection, the proposed fault estimationscheme is activated. The design procedure is formulated as alinear matrix inequality (LMI) problem which provides aneffective approach to compute the design parameters. Moreover,the proposed scheme is able to handle both of constant and timevaryingfaults without the need for any prior knowledge aboutthem. Finally, some simulation results are presented to verify theeffectiveness of the proposed scheme.
