Design and Accuracy Assessment of a Novel Data Acquisition System based on LinearArray CCD and DSP Arm Cortex-M4 Core

Linear image sensors include optical cell arraysthat can be used for precise measurements. In this paper, we useda TCD2557D linear CCD with 5340 color pixel. A dataacquisition system based on the ARM CORTEX-M4 core isintroduced. In the proposed DSP board, the internal ADC speedsampling is high enough to transmit the sensor data to the buffersfor further processing. All data sampling and DSP software areimplemented on a Keil 5.1 compiler. A new low cost method formeasuring the displacement is also proposed, in which thevariation of the laser light as a point source is compensated. Wefinally assess the measurement accuracy and stability of oursystem.
