خلاصه مقاله:
The demand response and energy storagetechnologies utilization are among the important issues in thefuture smart grids. Many countries around the world decided toincrease the penetration level of renewable energy resources intheir power grids resulting in problems to the power systemoperation by decreasing the flexibility. This paper proposes anew generation mix determination (GMD) method by includingboth of demand response and energy storage systems to providemore flexibility to the power systems. The simulation resultsshow the effectiveness of the proposed method in determininggeneration mix of the future power system with high penetrationlevel of wind energy plants.
