Abstract:

A significant characteristic of well- designed human resource organization is job identification based on job factors and assessing correctly the jobs. Although the constituents of job evaluation methods and their applications have been well documented in the organization, management and strategic literature, our understanding of how we can control and decrease the uncertainty in job’s assessment among organization chart is limited. This paper reviews key concepts from the Hay-based model in job evaluation, including evidence of empirical support in refinery industries. However, the paper extracts the sub- key factors in job evaluation and considering uncertainty in appraisement as an approach to achieve a Robust Hay Job Evaluation model by defining the Robust Core of job as a new concept in job evaluation
