Studying the consequences of the privatizationof the insurance industry on the structure of insurance companies

Country insurance industry as one of the country's financial institutions has a special place in the privatization process, so that the effective performance of this industry in the allocation of available funds will be a stimulus for other economic sectors. The management and ownership of state-owned insurance companies and non-motivating factors resulted in a significant share of these funds at the rate of low profits to be transferred to the bank system. The aim of this study is to investigate the consequences of the privatization of the insurance industry with a variety of conditions relating to the structure of insurance companies. The statistical population included the insurance companies in the country and abroad in the period from FARVARDIN to TIR of 93 that the total number was 22 companies. The number of samples obtained based on the Cochran formula was considered 16 insurance companies. The results showed that the combination the insurance companies’ portfolio with the changing nature of insurance companies activities from state-owned to the private.
