Abstract:
The Solar energy conversion into electricity takes place in a semiconductor device that is called a solar cell. A solar cell is a unit that delivers a certain amount of electrical power that is characterized by an output Voltage and current. In order to use solar electricity for practical devices, which require a particular voltage or current for their operation, a number of solar cells are connected together to form a solar panel, also called a PV module.In this presentation, a method capable of determining these resistances, for the models given in this Eqs and other one-diode model, is proposed. such approach is an optimization method that searches the Values for the resistances in a predefined solution space. This method, called the PSO algorithm. The algorithm is based on the movement of different particles or individuals within an N-dimensional solution space. Such movement aims to simulate the behavior and intelligence of swarms to explore the solution domain, by taking into account the history or experience of each one of the particles within the domain as well as the history of all themes a group.
