Abstract:
Computational grids have arisen as a new approach to solve problems on a large scale in scientific, engineering and commercial fields. The computational grid is a software and hardware basis that provides reliable, sustainable, inclusive and inexpensive access to the others abilities. A computational grid is associated with set of resources on a large scale. A computational grid is associated with a set of resources on a broad scale. Resources in grid are belonging to different organizations that have management policies, usage models and their own costs for different users at different times. As well as the availability of resources and the burden on them will change over the time. Owners and users of resources have different objectives, strategies and business models. In managing a complex environment such this, using common approaches for resources management in which try to optimize performance in system level wouldn’t be carried out. In order to achieve the desired goals grid (like virtual firms) need to have an efficient scheduling system as a vital part to the grid. Dynamic and heterogeneous nature of grid and the different needs of applications on the grid, make grid timing complex. The scheduling system in grid must allocate resources grid to user program which is made of many independent work, by using an efficient algorithm; So that limitation of issue be met and minimized requested parameter (like cost or time) according to optimization strategy.
