Modeling study of beer column for bioethanol production byusage of date as feedstock

Nowadays, concern about climate change increased by stunning emission of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Bioethanol is one of the solutions that can help the humans to overcome the change of the earth climate. Bioethanol is a sustainable fuel for environmental, but its difficult production made it noncost- effective. Reason of this problem is the high level of energy consumption in bioethanol productionprocess. Distillation and purification section is main energy consumer. Therefore in this study, beer column as an important part of separation process of bioethanol production investigated. In this work, two flash tank considered before beer column that separated the gas and solids from fermentation out flow. Results show that beet column feed entrance in this configuration will be top of the column.
