Abstract:
Earthquake's Effects may have appear As faulting, crustal movement and etc., on the surface. It is important that you be aware of fracture and faulted zones Around the construction and engineering structures. In addition, can be seen the concentration of earthquakes, in the destructive margins or convergent margin. the highest density of earthquakes in Iran, Located along the southern Zagros and Alborz Mountains. In the meantime,The South Caspian (Khazar) fault, is known active and dynamic faults, due to 450 km length, destructive mechanism and different Seismic activity (For example, 8 July 1985 in southeast Behshahr and 10 October 2007 in the East Behshahr). Despite urban development on branches of Khazar fault, It is important that Well known and specified mechanism and strikes of The fault in urban sensitive areas. In addition,The basic approach to investigate the faulting, Due to covered areas by Quaternary deposits and absence of fault outcrop in the many areas, Is use the Subsurface exploration methods and Especially high resolution Geophysical Methods. in the this study, We managed to detect The fault boundaries under the Earth's surface, Utilizes The electrical resistivity method And then forward and inverse modeling of resistivity data. For this purpose, Initially, we design Resistivity Survey lines perpendicular to the imaginary fault strike. And then The resulting data After correction,Were modeled In RES2DINV Software by Inversion method and Nonlinear least squares optimization method. As well as, We design Khazar fault Synthetic model In ZOND (res2d) Software by Forward modeling method. And finally, We offered the geological model and determined Khazar fault borders in khalil shahr region by comparing Forward and inverse models and interpretation of the inversion section.
