The study area located in the southwest part of Sanandaj city (Kurdistan Province). Geomorphological indicators and Active Tectonic are the Useful tools for study the effects of tectonic activity in the area. In this study, In order to evaluate rate of tectonic activity of Zhave rood area, active tectonic indexes for example stream lengthgradient index (SL), Drainage basin asymmetry(AF), transverse topographic system (T), ratio of valley floor width to valley height (Vf), mountain front sinuosity(S), hypsometric integration and hypsometric curves(Hi) By GIS has been used.On based of above values of geomorphological indicators, Indices of Relative Active Tectonic (Lat) were determined for 5 sub-basins. relative activity tectonic levels obtained after the division into 5 sub-basins and Checking Morphometric parameters and matching of this parametry with structural and lithologic units.The amounts of relative active tectonic (Lat), Examined for each 5 sub-basins, Under which, sub basin in Nos.3,4 Show high tectonic activity and sub basin in Nos.5 Show moderate tectonic activity and sub basins inNos.1.2 Show low tectonic activity.these show moderate Active Tectonics in 5 case study sub basins
