خلاصه مقاله:
Organizational socialization is a very important concept for both employers and employees because it makes adjustment process easier and more effective. In addition to the significant results of asuccessful socialization process, organizational citizenship behavior is of the most important results ofsuch a process. The aim to this study is to measure the impacts of the intermediary factor of personenvironment fit in relationship between socialization and organizational citizenship behavior. The aim of this study is to deliberate the intermediary role of person-environment fit in therelationship between socialization and organizational citizenship behavior in Asan Pardakht Corp. in Tehran. This Study is of descriptive-cohesion kind. Data have been gathering by distributing questionnaire. In order to test the hypothesis, we used structural equations modeling system. Studyfindings show that all three person-organization fit, person-supervisor fit, environmental demands-people abilities fit are affecting the relationship between organizational socialization and organizational citizenship behavior. Appropriate level of employees' socialization will cause increment in loyalty,attachment, employees' adjustment with job, organization and workplace. And this occurrence will make organizational citizenship behaviors more common among the employees. Finally, the organization performance and efficiency will increase. On the other hand,inappropriate level of employees' socialization will cause unnecessary movements in the organizations and job leaving which will cause loss of resources of the organization. Thus it is better for the organization to have plans for the newcomers' socialization in order to take advantage of the adjusted newcomers' abilities.
