Examining buildings from various historical periods not only defines The architecturalfeatures of each era, but also the culture, traditions, beliefs and the rulers of the respective era.As a result, one of the goals behind studying a work of architecture is to gain sufficientknowledge about various aspects of a historical period and Ali-Qapu is not an exception fromthis rule. Studying the reasons behind building this palace, the uses that it had, decorationsand the materials used in building it, changes in its usage and structure throughout the time allhelp expand our horizons about the Teimourian and Safavian eras.Interesting information can be gained by paying more attention to the different floors of thisbuilding that we will go through them in detail. On the other hand, changes to the eastern,northern and southern facades of the building throughout the time has changed the appearanceof this mansion. The upcoming research will study the features of this building based on fieldsurveys and other sources accessible in libraries.
